HTP Wick

HTP Candle Wicks are a premium coreless, cotton flat braid wick with a paper filament throughout, providing the structural strength of a paper core wick. Their self-trimming and complete combustion burning characteristics minimize mushrooming and soot. The versatility of HTP makes them suitable for use in soy waxes, lower melt point paraffin waxes, and single pour paraffin waxes.

These wicks can be utilized with:

• medium (2-3") container candles
• large (3-4") pillar candles 

Disclaimer: Any carbon buildup should be removed immediately after the wick has been extinguished.

When making changes to a candle recipe—whether it's modifying an existing recipe or creating a new one—it is best to test the wick size of the candle before committing to a specific size. If you are using a wax that has different burning characteristics from what you used previously, it may be necessary to adjust your wick size. This can also occur when you use a different fragrance oil, dye, or any additives in your candles.
